Dickinson Director named to State Education Committee

Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently appoint Dickinson ISD Special Education Director and GCASE President Elect,  Laurie Rodriguez,  to the Continuing Advisory Committee for Special Education.  This committee is meant to provide policy guidance on special education and related services for children with disabilities in Texas.

Ms. Rodriguez was one of 17 people named to the committee which will meet four times a year in Austin.  Ms. Rodriguez will serve on the board until 2021.  GCASE congratulates Laurie on her appointment!
